Celebrating
25 years service to
the Rugby League
Community!

There are four days of Rugby League to keep you entertained over the first weekend in March, weather permitting as the beast from the East, and another arriving in the south-west, envelop the country in their icy grip.

Thursday (NOW POSTPONED) and Friday boast a full Super League programme while the Betfred Championship takes place over Saturday and Sunday.

All seven Championship One games are scheduled for Sunday afternoon and the sides hit the league programme after last weeks Challenge Cup exploits.

Thursday nights Super League fixture sees seventh placed Castleford Tigers as firm favourites as they travel to Hull KR to take on the Robins although there is some doubt over the fixture going ahead with a pitch inspection at 10am (NOW CONFIRMED AS POSTPONED).

Friday evening has three 19:45 kick offs with Hull FC the favourites to overcome the Warrington Wolves, fresh from their victory over the Warriors last weekend. Wakefield are strongly fancied by the bookies to defeat a Huddersfield Giants side (NOW SUNDAY 4th AT 3pm) who have had a disappointing start to their 2018 campaign and the Leeds Rhinos are even stronger favourites to get the points against a winless Catalans Dragons (NOW POSTPONED).

The two eight o'clock kick-offs are both in Lancashire where St Helens are widely tipped to remain unbeaten as they host the Salford Red Devils (NOW SUNDAY 4th AT 4pm) and you can get very long odds on the Widnes Vikings upsetting the form book and beating the Wigan Warriors as they travel to the DW Stadium.

Toulouse Olympique XIII host the Saturday afternoon fixture in the south of France where the Rochdale Hornets are the visitors with the remainder of the Championship fixtures kicking off at three o'clock on Sunday afternoon. There are also two divisions of National Conference games to entice you on Saturday afternoon if you like your rugby at grass roots level.

Many people will be keeping an eye on the game at the Leigh Sports Village where the Centurions take on Featherstone Rovers in their first game since the resignation of Neil Jukes. Kieron Cunningham has been installed as the favourite to take over and he stands in as coach this weekend as the home side begin again in their quest for a top four place. Unbeaten London Broncos are at winless Sheffield Eagles in what should be a one-sided game while Toronto also look to have a simple task against a Swinton Lions seeking their first victory. Barrow Raiders, with two big scalps so far in 2018, are at Dewsbury to take on the Rams and Batley Bulldogs have a local derby against Halifax.

All of the games in Championship One also take place on Sunday afternoon with Bradford Bull against London Skolars the stand-out game. York Knights are in Coventry, Hunslet host Whitehaven and Keighley Cougars make the trip to Newcastle to play the Thunder as they look to put last weeks Challenge Cup exit behind them.

Oldham play Hemel Stags and there are also long road trips for Doncaster to West Wales Crusaders and North Wales Crusaders have the drive up to Cumbria.

Wherever you are going to watch your rugby this weekend, enjoy.
