A nice trip to Salford on a freezing Friday in February.

Great start.

Are these fixtures for real ?.

Why do we play both games with Fev, Leigh and Sheffield before we play Hunslet york or Batley even once ?.

Surely it should be play everyone once, then at the half way point play them all again. We play york twice in the space of a month ?.

I believe the problem is that Sheffield cannot play at home for a 10 week spell so the fixtures have been moved around to fit many of their away games into that window.

Hopefully work in our favour as if we're top of the league by halfway, you'd think we'd be favourites to finish there. York onwards from end July are all winnable, maybe even Barrow away the game before as Des will be player-coach by then.
