9 times out of 10 Hall crashes over and scores - this was the 'one in ten' attempt so I think we should cut him some slack.

Same reason moon dummied and scored in the semi. He was confident he had the best chance to score. With his record from 5m I'd have backed him too

I've already said Hall probably should have passed but a pass can carry it's own risk - miss directed, fumbled by the receiver, deflected or even intercepted by the last defender.

Not the first time a player has succumbed to white line fever nor will be the last.
