Utter bullsh|t.
If the on-field ref makes that decision then ok. The video ref shouldn't get that wrong.
It's nowhere near good enough and makes a mockery of the game.
How that can be allowed but the Leeds try v Wigan is disallowed shows everything anyone needs to know about our refereeing system and the people in charge of it.

I've not watched a TV game for ages. I decided to watch tonight's game and now I've realised why I don't watch TV games anymore!!!! I have now turned over to something else.
The video ref is killing the game. My opinion is that it should be scrapped completely

It's not the system, it's the people operating it - they're either woefully under qualified to be officiating elite level sports or there's something sinister behind it. |

It's this ridiculous idea to make the on field ref HAVE to send it upstairs as either a try/no try,
If he'd have sent it up as a no try then he'd more than likely given no try. Don't need to scrap the VR, scrap the on field decision nonsense. |
