Get Sneyd in there. With our pack likely to be dominated (again) we need someone with a decent long distance kicking game, something that is not a strength of either Holdsworth or Smith.

I'd have Nero coming on for Howarth and going into Moons spot at centre, with Moon moving into the halfs and Smith going into hooker. It's a lot of reshuffling granted, but maybe mixing things up a little against Saints is something we need to do?

Not a big supporter of Smith at hooker, but understand why you would suggest it. He has more experience than Howarth, so wouldn't be a bad shout.

However, GIBSON? Other than hell no, my feelings are the sooner we get him out of the club the better. He is a complete liability in defence and never puts his body on the line. Main example are the two tries he conceeded against Catalans Dragons last season. Both would have been prevented if it wasn't for incredibly weak tackles. I could be wrong, but didn't Moon play right centre last season, so Moon could move across and Nero play right side.

Assuming Smith plays hooker, I'd go with:

I'd leave Matty Smith @ 7 for starters. I'd be tempted to bring Owen in and rotate him and Howarth but I think I'd go for Sneyd as he gives options at half back with Smith moving to hooker
