We have Scott Mikalauskas as our ref this weekend. Rovers had him last weekend against the Bulls, when they say, he did quite a good job.

Have seen Scott a fair few times in C1. I've always been impressed, there's a reason he's flying through the ranks. No-one is perfect, player or ref, but he's plenty good enough for this level.

Should be a good atmosphere. Rovers have sold out their allocation of tickets behind the sticks and I'm told your on-line ticket sales are busy. See you at the weekend!

Injured, rested or tactical???

Surely not rested? got to assume injuries, both big losses i would have thought, pack will be less experienced and lighter - couldnt have picked a worst game...........

Roqica was so far off the pace it was untrue, and to a lesser degree so was Offerdahl. I reckon Roqica was left flat footed and floundering in defence three times at least - great going forward though.

Pointer was always going to get back as we need two hookers. I think it is excellent that Hendo drops players who are not performing. Evans is very experienced. In Hendo we trust.

Junior's second shift against Swinton was left very very late so it is quite possible the coach wasn't happy with him.

At the time I thought it was tactical to put him against a tiring defence as an impact player. Also Eddie was having a good game so keeping him out made sense. Looks like there was more to it than I thought.

Mark was ok I thought but certainly nothing special.

It is good that we have a squad which allows Hendo to make these decisions. It should keep all the players on their toes.
