Whilst I wouldn't condone it if an away fan did it, I could understand they were trying to disadvantage the opposition.

Lasers are dirt cheap abroad. I bought one in Bali last year for about £7 and it will throw a beam many hundreds of meters, yeah you read that right, and produce a dot the size of your little finger nail on the target. Even visible in broad daylight. At night its awesome. Its green as well. I wouldn't dream of using it at a match or owt like that though, just for making my dogs chase the dot, great exercise for 'em, but this type of laser is deffo available.

Well they are produced to point at things in lectures and things like that. Not sure about the powerful ones, don't know what practical applications they would have in civilian life but I can't see any reason why they would be outlawed unless they are ones that could produce a dangerous amount of heat.

In a large auditorium 1000 plus, then the little red ones are hard to pick up well, I have a green one for when I speak in the big venues, got it from Ebay, use the red one elsewhere. Using one at Rugby etc is simply bonkers and deserves prosecution.
