Just a quick post to let people know that myself and my brother are taking over The Kings Head on the 3rd December and everything permitting will re-open the pub on the 7th December.

Planning on it staying a pub for the older end and will have karaoke, music from 50's to the 90's and live entertainment every week.

Good luck with the venture - maybe we could run a supporters group from there - have monthly meets to organise travel to away games etc and fundraisers for the cougars

I'm sure we will be able to organise something, need to get the pub back in operation 1st lol lot to be done it's been closed for 5 month's.

Don't forget the supporters trust / group 'Pride in the red and green ' !

Glad someone has taken over the Kings, sad to see pubs closed. Used to go in a lot, let me know if you have an openig night please.

Opening night is planned for Friday 7th December doors open at 6pm. If there's any delays they will be posted on our temporary website.

John smiths smooth

Strongbow

More draughts will be added after christmas, can't add any more at moment due to cellar needing a cooler upgrade.

Planned additions are:

Carling black label & at least 2 hand pulled cask ales, 1 permanent and 1 guest.
