Recently met the Conservative candidate for Wakefield constituency Alex Storey. He is a big lad who was a European rowing champion,was in the 96 Olympic team and represented the U.K in4 World Championships ! He is obviously a keen sportsman and when I suggested that he took an interest in W.T.W, he said that he had been following the plans for Newmarket with interest and intended seeing some home games if he got the chance. So come on Ted invite him to come and see what the Wildcats do for the community and local youth.You never know, he may be in a position to help us after May 6th, I,ve not noticed any help being offered by our present representative !

cracking posts, like many on here I too look forward to hear support from fellow fans from other clubs but you seem to be helping that bit further,

The Yorkshire Water response to the development has been received today. Whilst not supporting or objecting they have a number of constraints to the development should planning be granted, such as feasibilities studies on the local pumping stations and to have separate draining systems rather then combined. Usual stuff I imagine.

Also a petition, was received against the development with about 50 signatures on it. I could include it on the figures but then a certain other petition would blow it out of the water.

Final thought, would it be worth having a sticky or something for all stadium news? It keeps everything in one place then

he then had to listen to ten minutes of me ranting how it was, and how for the last year or so haven't bought it and how its not good enough for my guinea pigs crap on it

get in and view this so I showed him the biased view of the stadium and the timing of the publicity, his mate was laughing outside and joked about phoning the police

(this was all in good humour) but all he could say was I only sell the paper



when he left my eldest son was in stitches laughing at me saying I owned the two

I think that's a fair point. Problem with stickies is everyone seems to ignore them, and new threads will spring up anyway when new information becomes available.

I'll have a word with the other mods about it and see what we can come up with.
