| It's certainly not the best time for us to be in this position either given the amount of people who are either out of work or being asked to work less hours.
I just hope the stay aways will not stay away permanently. I'm currently debating whether I can justify the £23 entrance to Craven Park and then the other costs involved for next week!

£23?
It was £20 last time I went and I found that steep.
Is it really £23 a ticket now?

Jesus christ. That on top of a tack of petrol amongst other things takes that to above the £50 mark.
I'll be going, but I'll be trying to sneak in as a concession. That's ridiculous.

You quoted my post, yet I did neither of those things. All I did was state that the Bulls crowd was dreadful - which by any historic objective measure, including particularly the impact on the club's cash flow (remember what Hood said at the Fans' Forum...?) it was.
And that was only in response to a suggestion that the crowd was much larger than reported.

| It's £20 for Craven Park according to Bulls website for away tickets.
Whether I go or not depends on my health. I am on a BIG session on Friday and expect to be very very hungover. As long as that hangover has cleared by Sunday lunchtime, I'll go to the game.
I have a habit of getting some real monster hangovers though, so I shall have to see.

Apparently so.. time you've paid for parking, petrol, a beer or two etc and suddenly you've spent close to £50!

I was having this conversation with Eddievan earlier. The worry is less that they will go watch another (better-performing) club, but that they - or many of them - will be lost as fans to RL, maybe forever.

| Hmm, well the info I had was from someone else. Is the £20 price for people who buy in advance or is that the walk up price too?

Looking at the KR website, that is selling tickets at £20 a piece too. Doesn't say anything about if it's different on the day, but I'd be very surprised if it was.
Perhaps some friendly KR fan can help us out on this. Shortly before the FC fans follow onto this forum and start arguing, obviously.

[iMcNamara said he was unaware of reports linking hooker Terry Newton with Wakefield.[/i

Good, lose Newton next season without a quality replacement and there will be plenty more games when we concede similar amounts of points as today.

| Sounded like a bit of a 'no comment' type statement to me from McNamara.
