I just don't think people enjoy international RL, me included. IF there was a game at the KC I may have gone to it but other then that it just doesn't interest me.

If it'd been Wigan v Melbourne Storm in the WCC it would have sold out weeks beforehand. I think that pmarrow's attitude is probably normal for the bulk of RL supporters.

Been to Paris a few times now and although its a top city its very expensive, my French is not wonderful and ultimately the footy will be yet another training run for Australia.
On the other hand I get given a FREE ticket for the Wallabies v England at Twickenham (being a Pom even you must have heard of it) through my work....I can go to the Walkabout before and after the game.... and whilst at the game I can soak up the atmosphere of 82,000 singing rugby fans in one of the nicest stadia in the UK.
It was such a hard choice  |

I agree, London is expensive.
but so is Paris....and I'm already in london 
I'm not a big Rugby fan but its going to be a good day for free

Can't beat a big crowd at a sporting event.

Everyone keeps banging on about using the COM stadium but they can only use it for some many non football events.
Concerts will always get first pick as the stadium can pack more in and fleece you for more cash once you get in on drinks and food.
