can't think of too many sportsmen who have refused the big money moves in the past - one that springs to mind is Matt le Tissier who stayed at Southampton and refused some good deals elsewhere

No T14 club put in an offer, GI agent got in touch with several clubs none showed concrete interest; if they had it would have been all over the french press which were noticeably quite on the whole thing.







It was about nothing else but money, the discussions with clubs of other sports used by a number of RL players with no intention of leaving NRL unless they get an extremely good offer. As for staying in the game he loved, he is a mercenary nothing more dressing it up any other way just makes you seem delusional.

Didn't you know Thoth AFl offered him millions, French RU offered him millions, S15 offered him millions. But being the principled person he is (and in no way would he walk out on a handshake deal for a few extra $'s) he turned them all down to get paid 1/2 but still be able to play in SOO

Happy new year mate.Everything went OK,all the bad weather that was happening was just above Brisbane and not in Cairns.Oh and if anyone from here gets to go to Cairns should head to Green Island for a day it was bloody fantastic.

even better stay over, we spent 3 nights staying on the island. When the masses leave you get the whole place to yourself, can feed the sharks etc awsome

Hopefully next time we can stay longer.

yeh def do if you can. It was the best 3 nights ever! The staff and chef were outstanding and having the island to yourself is very special, you see alot of sea creatures on a night that you don;t see during the day.

We stayed @ Palm Cove wasn't to bad .

The prices @ these hotels are a ridiculous amount of dollars to stay in.The money we spent we could've stayed @ green island for less I bet.
