It's his mess, the buck stops with him (never been a fan of sacking coaches, simply because of a bad run). It's his responsibility to bang a few heads, and start coaching properly

He has to be ultimately responsible. I am wondering now why Smith said he had to refresh the coaching staff by letting Marshall and Poching go to bring in Agar.

After Wakefield the rest of the fixtures look quite daunting they may well decide his future, whatever the problem is this coming period will show us if he's got what it takes, he has some major sorting out to do.

If Smith goes, who will take over. Agar appears to have been "hand picked" so if Smith's judgement is questioned, his staying will be untenable. The only person available who I think could do it would be Nobby
