IMO The previous community department when all things are considered were excellent, worked hard and had lots of great ideas, of course they could have done more but with the limited budget they probably had to spend too much time and effort not chasing the awards as some have said but chasing the potential funding.
One of its biggest problems (and the current one is the same*) was lack of publicity of what they actually did, having a mini-bus with logo’s on etc shows a community presence. around the towns, when they visit schools, or festivals, etc. We use to have a plain white mini-bus for community use, I’ve drove it

) , do we no longer have it?
Blackburn have about 4 of these, not only for their weekly community work but they also take their disabled supporters to away games in them, could we do this? Or even the JC’s, Even if they had to pay the travel cost.
*The publicity is so lacking I’m not even sure we currently have one?
