Would say no to a DC at Half Back in a ideal world (in fact in a ideal world I have no interest in any DC players).

Its one of the most important positions on the field and whilst it would be great to get a player with potential in that role I would be looking at assurances on just when he could be called back and ensuring the parent club didn't drop us in it last minute unless completely unavoidable..

From what i am being told this may not yet happen, nothing signed yet and the club i am led to belive the club have had meetings with wigan and wire this week about d/c players, so we will have to wait and see what happens.

That would suggest us signing Mcnally to play 7 then with the duals being outside backs and forwards probably be for the best in the long run i'd love to see Rhys back

Just out of interest who is picking the incoming players? I assume the new coach whoever he is and not just the directors.

wouldnt having a D/C player be cheaper in the long run? think i read we pay £250 a game. although its not ideal incase they are called back to their club

May have got it wrong but I'm sure it was mentioned at the last fans forum that the 'wanted' list for the 2012 squad was drawn up months ago, so inevitably it would have been Basil compiling that list. Which is a lot more preferable to it being drawn up by the directors, with all respect due to them!

Was told last night his was a season long loan.

That's much better than signing him as D/C.

If thats the case he's more than welcome, totally different scenario to D/C

Ryan tweeted that it was a D/C. Seeing as the club don't send out press releases anymore, maybe we will find out when we play our first friendly in December. Oh I forgot, we will have to turn up at the LSV on Boxing day and just hope that the club has arranged a pre-season friendly, because we won't find out otherwise!

I think we have arranged friendlies with Wigan and Salford.
