According to the numbers, Williams is a slightly better kicker than Hardaker over the course of his career (59% v 64%). I'd feel more confident putting the responsibility on his shoulders rather than Hardaker's as well for obvious reasons.

Whats all this fuss about Hankinson? Hes only played a game or two and already hes being touted as the next Gene Miles. What makes people think he will be so good?

In that one game he showed he is a proper unlike Dan "I don't like to pass" Sarginson and he kicks, somebody at the club thought he must be good enough to take

Sarginson had a good end to the season when he was moved in to that left centre spot and Hankinson showed up well in his game and a half, so we’re not in a bad spot with Gildart being our number one pick.



I know it’s not popular in all parts to talk about giving wingers a go in the centres but I’d like to see Manfredi have a run there in pre season. He’s not the most skilled when it comes to passing but he’s be a nightmare to defend against and his own defence is exceptional. Nothing ventured nothing gained IMO.

For me it has got to be a new signing unless Hankinson is going to play.

We have no current first team squad player who can goals and just as importantly no one with a good long kicking game either for positional play or kicking from hand on penalties.

I sincerely hope it is a half back signing even if only for a season or two until hopefully one of the younger guys coming through the ranks can stake a place on merit.

I'm hoping that this is at the top of KR's to do list.
