was a good wait ended up watching 20 mins on the tv s ,good job they got them as well cause we scored the try just b4 half time

I am surprised that they still have not got the multi pouring machines at the ground.



I was at the game with the Mrs and a couple of friends from Leeds, we got a beer a piece but then went down at half time and as soon as i saw the queue i just went back to my seat.



They had the multi pouring machines when we went the ashes in 2005 at old trafford, it was the first time i'd seen them and thought they'd be great for the rugby, i still can't believe they haven't gone for them.



All the extra pints they would serve in one game would probably pay for them

The can bar was there last night, I used it three or four times. BUT, they only had warm cans, no ice bucket and only a table full of cans. Once they went there was no re stocking, and just closed it.

Hmmm. It wasn't there post match which is when I went in.

Makes it worse when a warm can taste better than the cr*p that comes out the tap.

If you want a beer go to a pub.



If you want a gobfull of pigp!$$ then have a drink on the ground.



Anyone stupid enough to queue for beer on a sports ground and miss the game they paid to watch has absolutely non sympathy here.

It's a minor price to pay for quick service. Perhaps a good idea for an in stadium can ban as well?

Firstly may i appolgise for the length of time people had to wait to get servered last nite, i work behind the bar on match days ( rugby and football ) and yes the length of time people were waiting was longer than average, but i can assure you that we in the south stand tried to serve you all as quickly as possible, the six pint multi pouring machines was being used from start to finish along with the pumps at the front of the bar. The demand for beer last nite was far greater than any other match and people were coming to us asking for up to ten and twelve pints at a time, the pumps only pour at a certain speed and we the staff can only supply as quickly as the pumps allow us to. as for the comment about us pouring pint after in readiness for the break, well i can personally assure you that the que at our bar never had less than ten people waiting to get served all match, so were we normally get stocked up ready for the interval, well last nite that chance never occured. I and along with the other staff hope that you can appreciate we aim to serve you as quickly as possible so that you can enjoy what you went along to do and get behind and support Wigan R.L

To be honest the problem with getting served in the East stand was not only last night, even against Cats we only just managed to get served before the shutters came down after queuing for at least 15 mins, and quite a few guys behind were turned away.



I don't know why they can't increase the 6 pint at a time pumps from 1 per kiosk to 3 or 4. Split the guys into 2 teams; 1 team manning the 6 at a time pumps, the other team taking the order and passing the already full pints to the paying punters.........bingo



Or just serve beer in plastic bottles





As for not having the can bar after the game in the SS Bar....Unbelievable!! We walked out and went for a few beers in Terry & June's

I queued for about 20 minutes. Missed the first 10 minutes of the match. When I went watching United against the shatics in the North Stand earlier this year there were just as many people waining to be served however the queue only took a couple of minutes. They even had stewards directing the queue and telling people which pump they should head towards to keep the queue going quicker.
