Call it what you will but since week 1 Richards has dominated every category pretty much! He has not put a foot wrong in both attack and defence and as far as I am concerned that makes him the Man of Steel. I always took it that the Man of Steel was like the MVP awards in America which I think most will agree that Richards is the Most Valuable Player this year! |

For me it was his performance at Hull FC that nailed him this award, that was by far the best single performance I have ever seen from a Winger since watching RL.

No, I think you'll find he's Man of Steel.
Basically they have an awards dinner called the Man of Steel Dinner, they then give out the trophy that's called "The Man of Steel" Trophy to a player that's been voted "Man of Steel".
Just thought I'd clear that up for you.

We did have a Players player of the Year award but for some reason they changed the way the votes were done? Can't think why!  |
