Oh i agree with you completely that i'd prefer an experienced coach. I'd like to think though that the club can try and be innovative finding some 'consultancy' for Shaun if he is put in direct charge - happens in Business all the time, really wish we had close ties with the likes of Bennett who has so much to offer the sport.

theres an article in league weekly that states Wigan are actively pursuing Mcguire and that the visa issue is the hold up. Also states the RFL have given their full backing to the appointment of Mcguire as Wigan coach. States that warn will only be offered the job if Mcguire is refused a visa
