Surely IL could fork out for those, get them hung around the stadium. Because as good as all the other flags are, im not sure they are going to come off.
Also lets copy the Latics across the top of the west stand at the back above the boxes, because its not like we have any sponsorship up there, latics have blank blue & white hordings I believe, surely we can get some red & white ones for our games?
We need to do more to make the DW feel like our stadium on matchdays.

I think it would cost too much to make into a banner, but I like it too. It shows a team, a legend and what we have achieved / can achieve.
I could simplify the design, but would take a bit of work. To compare, here's a Boston design that Jimmy Birts Lives On asked for, which has less detail, so more likely to cost a reasonable price (I hope).

Think they were a fiver apiece off E-Bay, get tons of them off there. Got lettering sorted at a printing/embroidery shop in Leigh who have actually made a couple of flags from scratch for us.
E-Bay is a bit of a goldmine, got a 12 foot St George off there for about 15 quid; tend to get quite a few flags on there that are made for the Ministry of Defence but have a stitch out of place and therefore can't be used and get sold instead! |

I wish Leigh were in super league just so we could have one more big game per season.
Games against Wakey, Hudds, Quins, Celtic, Catalans, Bradford.... are such a let down when you want a good match day atmosphere. |
