99.99% of RL results go "the right way" i reckon, in that the teams get the result their endeavours deserve. I would even say that about 1980.

3. It has to be both legs clear of the ground. And I'm half convinced that the refs have been told to ignore it again anyway given decisions over the last year or so. They also ignore the bit about calling held if more than one attacking player joins the tackle and that hacks me off no end.

4. He threw it backwards. It doesn't matter what direction it goes after it bounces.

1. Saying that you've seen worse not given isn't an excuse? It's either illegal or it isn't. That was.

2. I think we kind of agree here, but given what happened a few tackles later only highlights why we need to let the video ref's 'pipe up' in such instances. Though, tbh, I don't think Burrow made an attempt at the ball in the first place, so it still should have been Leeds' ball.

3. It doesn't have to be both legs at all, once a leg is lifted held is to be called. I agree that the refs must have been told to ignore it. It can be the only explanation for blatant failure to call it.

4. That's the thing, Tomkins didn't pass, it fell from his hand and went forward. He ballsed up a dummy.

Last week at Crusaders, Tansey was getting ripped to shreds by the Hull fans all game. Did he react badly or flick the Vs? No - because that's not the done thing. He was then warmly applauded at the end of the game.

Cracking final. Leeds slightly hard done too but these things happen. The big call was the Lima second try, from a forward pass. The Tomkins brothers were classless with their 2 fingered salutes, no need.

I agree. I didn't get all the way to the end, but he seemed pretty accurate. Just some uncomfortable truths, I think.
