Shaun Edwards is a rugby league legend and could walk into any coaching job in Super League.

The guy has years and years of league experience - it's in his veins. I'd love to see him back in our game. Don't let the fact that he coaches on the dark side fool you.

Lets give the job to Offiah, ffs people it is the future of our club we are talking about and I for one do not what an untested coach given the chance to get his feet. We have done that and look at the mess we are currently in.

I don't see how he's untested. He's been working at the very top level in RU for many years. He'd make a fine SL coach.

Edwards and Offiah cant be compared, firstly Edwards is currently coaching at national level. In their playing days Edwards was a complete general on and off the field, Offiah put his head back and ran like Forest Gump. Where is Offiah's credentials for coaching a SL club

I would agree if we were talking about Clive Woodward or Martin Johnson. However, I don't suppose there's too much Edwards doesn't know about RL, what with him having played the odd game.

The game has changed a hell of a lot over the last 10 years that he has been out of it. He just is not someone who we can afford to take a risk on, he may well turn out to be a great coach but I would much rather we got someone with a good track record in RL than someone who would be classed as a gamble.
