I am over it but the fact remains that we let one of the best young british FBs in the game go for a few quid over a make shift FB with dodgy knees. as much i like motu .

Who didnt have dodgy knees at the time and is consistently one of the top 3 FBs not makeshift!

Much as I like Briscoe, he isn't quite as good as many claim.



Tony isn't a makeshift FB. He's played there regularly throughout his career. He's actually more of a makeshift hooker, a position many seem to think is his 'proper' one.



And he didn't have dodgy knees at the time IIRC. Although granted that does seem to be the case now.

Poor Shaun Briscoe! Half of Hull seem to know exactly what he was on at Hull, how much increase he asked for and how much he is getting at Rovers.



I think thats probably as good a reason to get rid of his agent as any.

No we didn't, hence why he hasn't been a regular international, ergo, he isn't the required standard.

Briscoe is a top quality full-back IMO and certainly in line for the England full-back spot and is every bit as good as most think.



I also like Motu as a full-back, but it was his ability to offer quality to a number of positions that i liked most about him, not as an out and out full-back.



Also did he not spend pretty much a full season injured when at Cas, prior to him signing for Hull??

No. He signed mid-season, played a fair few games (mostly at centre) and then missed the last half-dozen or so IIRC.
