In the past 12 months we have lost Crocker and Carvell and i'm going on the basis that Fitz, Hame and Tansey combined have pretty much the same salary cap value as Crocker and Carvell.



If Tony and Cusack leave that will be again another big chunk of the cap gone and i cant see Long been on as much as Motu and Yak combined.



The only way i see us having to release players is if we make a marque signing as if we sign Turner and Aizue i cant see anybody needing to be released to make room on the salary cap.

That should have been the selection to start the game. I accept that the players currently in the squad are not his choice but he can still coach them in training to run onto the ball, run angles, dummy runners, support play etc pretty much basic stuff but there isn't even the slightest sign of it. The only player that is at least running angles etc is Tickle, which lead to him getting his try of Friday night.

But next year will be too late paul, i tell you hear and now he's not up to it



keep him go in to next still same results he goes Sharp takes over mid-season back to where we started from, the old this year gone wait till next year



Go get the best possibile coach ready for pre-season to take us to where we belong

Kite won't come cheap I wouldn't of thought, if he comes.

There was no whispers or anything about Kite leaving Manly untill the HDM pulled his name of the hat it seems.

So that is Motu, Thacks, Cusack, Byrne, Crocker, Horne and Motu accounted for.



Also Luauki is coming in so we would need to shed another 1 or 2?



Its hard to work out without guessing at wages but even on my assumptions that is a fair few players gone between 6-9 gone.

I really cant see Tansey getting paid as much as Byrne.



Plus i was under the impression we are not spending at the full cap due to the Carvell situation.



If you take Kite out of the equation its a different story though.
