I cant see why its been done.He's a good pro and was possibly instrument in getting his mate across.I remember watching that channel 4 docu on Souths and Russel Crowe and it showed Cus in a very good light.

Not read the thread as time is limited on these computers and I can guess what the content will be. But anyway, I'm very pleased about him re-signing for one more year. For me he is by far our most consistant prop and also the best prop we have. The problem is that our forwards have too many players of his type. But I would rather have him on board for another year and for us to try and offload a couple of other players who are similar

Sorry Paul, not been on since Friday. That team looks a lot better than our current shower but I would want to add at least one big line busting forward to it and I don't know about Tansey as first choice FB either. Surely his utility is his strength ??

The question has to be why? Cusack is a plodding workhorse who can't bust a tackle. It smacks of one last payday, nothing more.



Someone on SportsTalk said during the week that FC should look around the National League for a younger British prop who would do a similar job, albeit with more enthusiasm and less wages. That kid at Keighley (his name escapes me) looked good in the TV game the other Thursday, although knowing my knowledge of the lower level, he's probably Australian as well!

I guess you don't see the good things that Yak does then? He's the only one in the whole team who'll give you a quick PTB and is solid in defence. He is also quite hard the take down as it usually takes a couple of guys to put him to the ground.

Well, of course, i don't see as many games as you. But if you are happy to see an ageing Aussie taking a significant chunk of salary cap for a fairly minimal return then fine. I can't question your judgement, you're an FC fan, i'm not. But be honest, is this the sort of thing you expect of a grade A licence club?
