thats absolute rubbish Martin over the last two years the forums have been Feb, June/July (I say that because the last mid season it slipped to July because that one took some arranging because of the availability of a City Centre venue which the fans had asked for) and October. With availability of rooms, (Fc Voices get it free so we have to fit round bookings) Cities fixtures at the KC, Sky changing our fixtures etc. etc you can't nail it down to a specific date, although dates are set about 5 weeks prior to the events and the events take place every 4 months with three guaranteed every year which is more than any other set of fans get.



We have had forums after losses and others after we have won. Bit unfair that comment I think.

Tbh I'm fairly ambivalent about the coming season so far.

I think we've got the potential to finish top 4 and have a good cup run if things fall for us.

However given the precedent of previous seasons I just can't see it. We're bound to suffer our usual bout of injuries and the cover available is pretty thin. I can't see Long/Horne playing that many games together based Horne's recent history. Granted most of Long's time out last year was just plain unfortunate but you just know he'll get more injuries ('tis the FC way) so we'll be operating on makeshift halfbacks again as it stands.



Repeat of last season I reckon. A few absolute storming games, a few total shockers, a few heroic defeats and the rest mediocre arm wrestles.

I am really looking forward to the new season. Hate the off season because it just seems to drag on and on.

Cannot wait for the new season. My expectations at the moment aren't high but I'm really looking forward to cheering the boys on.

Cant wait for it to start counting down the days now, dont think the squad is good enough at the moment for us to be really challenging at the top yet but it will come be patient everyone get behind the boys, great deal of local/english players, people stop being so negative been alot worse times then now.

I still can't wait for the start of a new season. Always have, always will. Whether it's watching the mighty FC or simply watching the other teams on Sky, it remains the best sport on Planet Earth (just wish a lot more people saw it that way).

Here's to 8 months of highs, lows, cheers, tears, exhultation and frustration (and that's just in game 1). Also looking forward to 8 months of opinions, debates, arguments, thought provoking views, wit, humour and endless amounts of mudslinging that makes this board the most vibrant, intense and alive on the whole of RL fans.com.

Im wearing my scrum cap, bicep pads and shoulder pads as well Kirby. Going to not bother wearing my jock strap for that one though. Far too cold and going to stick my cycling shorts on.
