Dobson with a full pre-season behind him at Rovers, in my opinion, COULD be one of the best next year (dependent on wether or not he can get a consistent run of games with the same halfback partner).

i`d have dobson any day over long.

No just named them....tbh i dont rate Deacon or Leuluai but they are better than Dobson...they can both tackle for a start..this is Dobsons biggest weakness.

Long has been there and done it...Dobson hasnt even set off yet.



Long has a better passing game and is a better organiser..kicking is equal and long can tackle.

I've never seen a problem with his defence he's the same as any scrum half, don't get caught defending up the middle or one on one with an impact player and there's nowt to worry about. Besides he'll be too busy concentrating on being the league's leading points scorer.

Reason being it does not matter what I think, what you think, or what anyone else thinks, it is pointless. Threads like this, and the Calderwood/Fox one are a waste of time. If Dobson played for Castleford you would not of even started it, I doubt you would even think it.

I cannot think of one aspect of Dobsons game that is better than Long's, Deacon's, or Burrow's.



For the record I think Long is twice the player Dobson will ever be.
