Cooke is a far better player than Brough although he has not prpduced it for Rovers like e did for Hull. I could not see why Rovers would want Brough as they have Dobson. He could of course play hooker but again he won't want to be interchanged and you still have Fisher. The only reason to sign Brough imo would be if Dobson was leaving, which he clearly isn't.

Although some of the Hull fans "IN THE KNOW" are telling us he is

99.9% of fans on RLF know feckall, they just like to think they do, or like to wind people up more than likely

Cooke is going to Wakefield and Brough is coming to Rovers as a hooker.

Seems an odd move. He's had some game time there but is really an out-and-out 7 for mine.

He is going to St's - not Rovers.

With the talent Saints have at 7 I doubt very much he would be needed there, it would not make sense. That said he is not a hooker so it also makes little sense that Rovers would sign him to play there.

Seriously doubt it. Saints have bags of talented options at halfback, and have already said that they won't be looking for a replacement for Long.



That said, he doesn't seem a particularly good fit for Rovers requirements either. Maybe he won't leave Wakey at all.

I'd only want Brough to come here if he's going to play 7. If we want to improve the squad we need a decent hooker, if we're just going to get someone in 'to do a job' there, we might as well give a young player a chance.

Fitzy's been a square peg in a round hole this season...we need a proper hooker.



I thought Brough was Huddersfield bound a few weeks back anyway.

He's coming to Bradford. Seen coming out of Odsal the other day aswell.
