The problem may not be moving slowly on the motorways but getting onto them in the 1st place. In the floods of 4 years ago we couldn't get into Sheffield and had to spend the night at Tibshelf Services - something I don't recommend.

I dont envy anyone making the journey down from Halifax, was meant to go there for work today but the roads were all flooded! Trains between Leeds and Sheffield also up the creek.

I managed to get home - 15 hours after i'd set off from Glastonbury, where I had been rained on for 5 days solid. When I did get home the power had gone so I couldn't even have a shower!!

The novelty of seeing Brightside Lane on Sky News wore off after about 10 minutes.

It's only a bit of drizzle,Suns out at Wimbledon,A roof

Suns gone back in.Was nice for that full minute.
