nice guy but no thanks.
John is good at motivating teams to play every game like a cup final which works at the start of the season but the teams seem to burn out mid season.

No. I think Kear has a shelf life of about 18 months. He always is reasonably successful in the short term, but after the initial newness has gone it always seems to go quite stale. I would want a coach who continually improve the side over a long period of time.
Do you think he could be on his way. By looking at your forum half the side seems to to be going.

I put a post on the Guardian website a few weeks back, my prediction for 2012 season was that Kear would be the coach of whichever of Cas and Wakey got a franchise next season
