All super league clubs and the RFL have agreed to install countdown clocks at every ground so the excitement can be increased during the final minutes of a game. As happens when Sky TV are at games and the fans count down the seconds as they appear on the TV screens.
What your thoughts on this?

Long overdue. It was introduced to RU a few years ago and I can never understand why we don't have it.
I've said for a while that electronic scoreboards and real time clocks should be a mandatory part of the ground criteria.

I agree, at least when the scorecard at Leeds works, still feel we need a new one installing. |

Now I did not know this, but as soon as I read it I thought, arghh, that is why we have a count-down clock at Headingley we don't seem to use!!! |

I suspect that we might end up with our own sky type 'screen' at some point, which we would just use as a scoreboard when not on TV, but also thought they would not bother until such time the majority of the ground re-development is finished. |

I always presumed they didn't have one as they couldn't be @rsed to keep it in sync with the time-keepers' timings.

I can't see it being that difficult to get the timekeeper's clock to appear on a screen/scoreboard in this day and age. |
