Greetings pop pickers and welcome to the Predictions Shield, which will run over the next 7 weeks. All points from the regular season carry over, but only those who finished the season as regular participants will be eligible. This list has been posted in another thread, but for ease I will post the current table of participants below.
During the Shield, the rules will change a bit. There will be EIGHT games to predict each week - FOUR games from the Championship Shield, and then FOUR other games selected from across the weekend's game. So you will have to predict games from the Super 8s, Middle 8s and League 1 Shield (might as well get some advance research in on the League 1 teams
)
It' the regular points for the Championship Shield games (1 point for the correct result, double points if you get all 4, and five bonus points for a correct margin).
However - the four 'bonus' games will score DOUBLE points i.e 2 points for a correct result, 10 points for correct margin)
This means there are a LOT of points up for grabs and means that just about anyone in the top half of the table (below) could theoretically make a late charge for glory.
