poplar cats alive:
A sad day for Rovers a real community club. But a sign of the times, spending money on a forlorn hope of getting into Super League . The reality now is struggling to get a team together for the start of the season. But they won't be on their own they'll have Salford for company.
The reality of more money going out that coming in. That is not a good way to run a business, and widening the debate over the games finances i do wonder if the clubs promoted to Super League will have the finances to compete for any length of time, before they go cap in hand to the RFL asking for an advance of their TV money to pay wages?
