Its the old miscomprehension. There is actually no such things as "home" and "away" shirts. Each team has to provide details of a kit and an alternative kit. IF there is a clash of colours the away side will use their alternative strip. With so few colours used by SL teams there will often be a clash and hence the "alternative" strip is commonly refered to as the "away" strip (NB, A team can elect to wear there alternative strip as long as it doesnt cause a clash AT ANY TIME....yep, even at home)

Probably so we could give stains a sporting chance - if we had worn the away kit we would have blended into the balck and white facade of smellsville and thrashed them even more
