I was under the impression, and so did a few around me last night, that we had a free weekend this week but iv just been on website and it says wer playin Whitehaven away on saturday. Is this right?

Whitehaven traditionally have a very good schools set up whilst I think ours has been allowed to drift in recent years.
Do we have the top kids from the town (Manfredi, Peet etc) or are these lads with another club?

Matt Pendlebury is with Wigan at that level, a Leigh East lad, there's a couple of lads from Golborne at Wigan/St Helens too at u16s level. Not sure who Leigh have picked up and who the u16s side consists of.

Manfredi is at Wigan but I believe our 16's arent the best ie East, Golbourne and Miners not in the top division at this age group, although the 15's could be much better.
