Yup! A team ideal to play, dominate and get promoted from the Championship which was, is and remains the objective for 2018 -- you would expect. Replaced by a bunch of Aussies that may very well want to leave -- just like Baptiste -- by October.

Overall, I'd say a more balanced team LeythIg. The 'but' is, do they have as much spirit? And if approached for next year would Ridyard consider a return? I don't know the guy but I'd guess he has too much integrity not to fulfill his 2 year contract at Featherstone. Duffy certainly let's him play -- like a kid in sweet shop on Sunday.
Maybe Cunningham can pull off some Magic by swaying Matty Smith to come for the season and do a job at 6. However audacious, I think that would really make a statement of intent. |
