No surprise that Gower's captain and probably a good choice. Would have liked to have seen at least one Brit in the leadership group. Melling?

Having captained Australia how could he not be the Broncos skipper....easy choice.

I think all this group leadership and up to five captains is a load of rubbish. One captain should be appointed and the other senior players should know they have to step up and help/guide the younger players.

In Broncos' case, Gower as captain and the likes of Melling, Randall etc taking a lead on the pitch.

South Sydney have 5 and Melbourne had 6 one year (seemed to work for them).

I bet Gower will be the man, simples. From what I hear, he's been reading them the riot act already. Good on him.

Good. I've always thought the ex-Australian captain Gower should be put in charge.

Hope it turns out to be an inspired choice and he doesnt let himself/the club down with any off-field antics as in the past.
