Although the friendly game will be no barometer of what will happen this time, only Abdul seemed to offer anything going forward and although one of the biggest HB's in the comp, he does have a full bag of tricks.
This one will be about how well our pack can perform.

Quinlan, Mulhearn and Linnet always seem to be a threat when KR are on the front foot. Garbutt will probably be the best forward on the pitch.

Agreed although he cant do the same minutes as he used to and just needs containing while he's out there.
Run a few sets at him and he wont be too effective with ball in hand.

I disagree Wrencat, I thought they looked very well drilled across the park at times with ball in hand - Probably a lot slicker than us in periods. Although when they started to chop and change towards the end (As did we) they did not look to be creating much at all with ball in hand.

KR are very much unknown at this point, I am very wary of them but I think we should have enough to beat them on Friday should we turn up!

Did they? I certainly didn't see any such thing. They couldn't even score until the very end.

This almost certainly will not be the case for real, as I expect them to be very hard work at their place but at BV they did very little to impress, even less than us. Were you actually there, by the way? I only ask because anyone who was wouldn't refer to either team as 'slick'.

I thought they caused us some issues down that left hand side all of the first half, they opened us up a few times but forcing the pass killed them on the error count.

Reading comments from KR fans, they seem a little nervous of Friday result. I don’t know why they should be, that’s a pretty strong squad they have. All pointing to a close game.

When I look at the KR squad it just looks very mediocre bar one or two.
