Always been a big fan of Gilmour, and we made a move for him before, but i don't know if he has passed it now in terms of form
Im becoming a big fan of Whiting and Calders on our right, but Gidley is still quality and would be hard to turn him down

I'm only suggesting who I would go for out of that list, I didn't expect us to get close to signing any of them!

Andy Lynch - should be our no 1 domestic target IMO.
Dave Halley - potential long-term successor to Raynor (getting injured more and more often) and not too bad at fullback cover from what I've seen.
Shaun Ainscough - as Halley but less likely to leave current club I reckon.
Who to retain...?
Richard Whiting - gets the nod over Horne for me, providing he stays fit for the rest of the year.
Jamie Thackray - depends on any props coming in.
Thomas Lee - another year, see if he can continue this year's form.
Sam Moa - not convinced either way yet, but would rather see an overseas spot used on a regular if possible.'"
Along with that, a scrum half and fullback from overseas and it's about as good as we could hope for IMO. |
