Early doors and with lots of recruitment for teams still going on so it will be interesting to see how close we end up. I'm hoping for top six however top 8 in what will be a transitional year will be okay for me.

I'll go for 7th, which I'd be very pleased with. On the down side we have too many new faces on both the team and coaching side to expect the team to be a cohesive unit in the first half of the season, but to balance that I'm hopeful that the new regime will at least see them playing with some pride, which was definitely lacking this season (until it was too late).

Reckon we will be lucky to get in the 8 next year, far too many changes and the team will lack that consistency and knowledge of the way each other play, whilst a 2/3rds of the squad will remain virtually unchanged ,changing so many in a first team squad at one go is always difficult ,and to expect big things of them next year would be unrealistic..

prime examples are our very own 2nd year in sl when so many changes was made to that squad and inconsistant patchy performances came that year, the same has been seen at Bradford and Salford this year also....

However i do hope i am proved wrong and that they all gel instantly and go on to win the league and cup

I think we have really good depth to the squad and if it is used well there'll be fewer dispiriting drubbings. Whether we'll turn many into victories, I'm not sure.
Quality wise - the pack looks powerful (potentially), but we're maybe short in the second row. Green and Dobson are a good halfback pairing and I believe Withers can play there too, so if one is out it won't be such a catastrophe, hopefully. We could do with another good back as well. Good collective... not many dominant individuals, but one or two who could develop into that.
I'd be happy with a play-off spot and, being greedy, a win in them. Realistically, it is a building/transitional season. Pressures off a bit; should be enjoyable.

I dont think Warrington and Wigan will be as strong, and Saints will be stronger. Leeds will be on a par with this season as will Catalans. I can see Huddersfield losing some ground, the signs are there. Hull will improve, as will we, but im not sure it will be enough to crack the 6. I think Cas seem to have lost alot imo.
