Bradford used to be at the forefront, but are lagging behind in a big way now. Wakefield have Diversity performing this weekend, and are not shy in promoting it. I reckon they will add a good few hundred to the gate at least. I know people that are going that wouldn't normally.

a) how many kids/adults comprise this few hundred

b) how much extra ticket money is that

c) how much is the 'spend' on this extensive promotion

d) how much is Diversity's fee



Before you ask I'm not knocking them, it's a positive and good move, but I doubt it's a path to riches, in fact I'd say on balance it's bound to cost them money. I doubt we'd be doing anything that doesn't have a "+" on the cash side of the equation just now, however 'popular'

Not a big fan of BGT myself, but I can tell you that if the Bulls had Diversity as the entertainment, at least two members of my family would be coming to the match.

Most new fans really rate the pre-match stuff at Odsal even though there's less of it nowadays (no face painters, bouncy castles etc).

As mentioned elsewhere Bradford are building from the bottom up. It is strongly rumoured that starting with next season we are looking at during the match entertainment.

Maybe they wouldn't make money on that day, but whats to say that the people that attend a game for the first time won't fall in love with the experience as a whole, and become regular supporters?
