I've just seen that you can now buy tickets for our Friendly match with Leeds.



Is it just me, or does £15 seem a little steep for a friendly?



I know it's a testimonial and money is going to Matt Diskin, but £15 for a match which, although between rivals, doesn't really mean anything?



Considering a lot of people are struggling for money these days, it seems a little much for me.

Totally agree. Think £12 is the maximum they should be charging, even if it is a testimonial match, it's still a friendly. Think 8-10 pounds is reasonable.

The Dewsbury v Batley derby game on boxing day costs £13 standing, £14 seated!! That seems a bit steep!!

Indeed it does. Especially since in the past few years, Dewsbury have charged £12 standing against us (Super League opposition).

£15-£0 for a friendly which means jack other than Diskins testimonial, this friendly could have had a large crowd had it been priced correctly, however it looks like that will be the main reason people now stay away, i would have considered going along butt not for £15-£20 to stand in the cold on a crappy terrace...no thanks

I think the prices are expensive and I just find it hard to call this match a 'friendly'.

It does sound an awful lot and is probably too much for me. Intuitively you would think that £5 less would get more than 50% more bums on seats...



Just out of interest, does anyone know roughly the flat cost of putting a game on pre season in the afternoon?
