With Charnley back my guess is Mamo to full back and Ratchford in the halves, I know he as played there but he is not a half for me.

If that's the case Ratchford, for me.

Maybe put Charnley FB and retain Mamo on the wing.

It's to be expected in their isolated pressure cooker of a forum. Without a steadying input from the outside world they've become a critical mess.

Looking at the faces of the team as they're boarding the coach I cant make my mind up as the whether they're despondent or just very focussed on the task.

Since Austin has been injured wire have had a number of different half back combinations and then you go and sign Smith knowing that he was cup tied . Has this been a huge mess up by Price? Why didn't he pick and play a half back pairing for the last number games together to get some kind of partnership and understanding regardless of whether Austin was fit or not for the final. It doesn't make sense, like I ask, has he made a huge error?

Yes i think so. If we end up with nothing this season like last, it is the coach and his decisions along the way in my view.

Just heard a rumour that Coote and Roby have clashed heads in training and they're going to have to undertake a concussion test. Not sure how true this is though.

Saints didnt train yesterday so unless they had an improptu game of 7 a side in the hotel resteraunt this is a load of rubbish

I heard about that other day so if true was earlier in the week. Doubt it will be the same concussion rules as during a game tho. Clutching at straws comes to mind again and someone starting a rumour for a laugh.

The naming the squad thing is weird.

It came about to stop fans being "cheated" by weakened teams and being able to make a decision about whether to attend.



Noble idea but imperfect. I don't mind it to be honest, gives a bit of a reason to get additional press etc in the lead up to a game but I don't understand why people get so precious about one or two players being different when you reach the match day 17.
