A month has passed since the Newmarket Presentation - are we any closer to planning permission being submitted, which was supposed to be matter of days away? Trying not to be negative but the weeks and months just seem to be passing by very quickly - 2011 draws ever closer.

Sure does.

Very soon. No one likes delays but it's better getting the application right now rather then amending it 3 months down the line and having to resubmit.

You can submit a planning application whenever you want but its not officially registered and logged until all the information required to make it a valid application is received.



If my information is correct there is one outstanding study that has to be completed and when it has been the application will go in and be officially logged and the "clock" will start.



As Khlav Kalash has said "very soon", be patient it has to be right.

As said above - it will be very soon, when the final parts of the application are completed and to everyones satisfaction.



These things cannot be rushed as it is vital that every T is crossed and every I dotted.



FWIW I am in constant contact regarding this and, in general terms, I am asking the very questions raised above - as most would given the chance - and it is frustrating, but we must be patient!

Thanks for the positive responses and reassurances. The sarcasm was not needed vastman - it was a genuine question from an anxious and worried supporter of over 50yrs.

Personally i think most supporters feel the same as you - "anxious"

Valid question IMHO.

Every Wakey supporter will be just as anxious as the next or should be, news will come out as things develop and not before therefore we will have to be patient and wait, unlike fans from other clubs' what seem to be kept on being lead up the garden path. Btw if you work on the assumption that Vasty was being sarcastic yours was not really in the best of taste. Just an observation.
